Ingredients
1 (16-ounce) package ziti pasta
28 ounces Rao’s marinara sauce, or any brand of choice
1/2 jar Tomato Achaar
2 tablespoons Roasted Garlic Achaar
24 ounces ricotta cheese
1 pound shredded mozzarella cheese
1 large egg, beaten
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Method
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add the ziti pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente. Drain and rinse with cool water.
In a medium bowl, combine Rao’s marinara sauce, Tomato Achaar, and Roasted Garlic Achaar. Stir well to create a spiced and flavorful sauce.
In a separate large bowl, mix the cooked ziti, ricotta cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, beaten egg, and 1½ cups of the achaar-infused sauce.
Transfer the ziti mixture into the prepared baking dish. Top with the remaining achaar-infused sauce, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.
Allow the baked ziti to stand for 15 minutes before serving.
