This Date Tamarind Dressing adds a delightful twist to any salad with its rich, tangy-sweet flavor. It's the perfect way to brighten up your favorite greens!
Ingredients
1 shallot, minced - optional if in a rush
2 tablespoons sherry or champagne vinegar - red or white wine vinegar works too!
1 tablespoon mustard of choice
1 tablespoon Date Tamarind Chutney
coarse salt to taste
fresh ground black pepper
6 tablespoons good olive oil
Method
Combine shallots, vinegar, mustard of choice, Date Tamarind Chutney, coarse salt, a few grinds of fresh black pepper in a large bowl. Whisk together.
As you are whisking, add in the oil slowly until all of the oil is emulsified. Taste and add salt if needed.
Store any unused dressing in the refrigerator.
