Brooklyn Delhi and Tacos Oscar brought their Indian-Mexican pop-up back to San Francisco on September 2nd. Their first collaboration sold out and drew lines around the block in 2025, and this year brought long lines all over again.
Brooklyn Delhi founder Chitra Agrawal and Tacos Oscar founder Oscar Michel are longtime friends who first met at UC Berkeley. Their collaboration celebrates the connections between Indian and Mexican cuisine, from shared spices and ingredients to generations of culinary tradition.
This year’s menu brought back crowd favorites including Rajma Nachos and the Masala Grilled Corn Esquites Tostada. A portion of the evening’s proceeds benefited CALMA, a local nonprofit supporting laborers, asylum seekers, DACA recipients, and migrants.
