Chili Cheese Toast

Chili Cheese Toasts are one of my favorite snacks. Chances are you already have these ingredients at home so all you have to do is put it together.

Serves 1


1 slice bread 

Brooklyn Delhi Roasted Garlic Achaar  

1/3 cup grated mozzarella or cheddar 

1 tablespoon chopped jalapeño, seeds and ribs removed or 1/2 chopped Indian green chili, depending on heat tolerance 

1 scallion, chopped 


Brooklyn Delhi Curry Ketchup or 1 Part Tomato Achaar + 1 Part Ketchup 


Mix cheese, chili and scallions together. Spread bread with Roasted Garlic Achaar. Top with cheese mixture.

Heat skillet on medium high. Melt butter in skillet. Place chili cheese toast in pan with lid until bottom is nice and toasty, a couple minutes.

Transfer chili cheese toast to oven and broil until cheese is bubbly and browned.

Dip in Curry Ketchup or make your own by mixing 1 part Tomato Achaar and 1 part Ketchup.
