Brooklyn Delhi's Egg on a Roll

This is our version of an elevated egg on a roll that is a NY classic. Our recipe includes a sweet & spicy combo from our Mango Chutney and Tomato Achaar. Do yourself a favor and make this for breakfast to kickstart your day!

Serves 2


2 eggs 

Salt and pepper, to taste 

splash of milk/cream

1 tablespoon butter 

2 slices sharp cheddar or any preferred cheese 

2 rolls or buns of choice

Brooklyn Delhi Tomato Achaar, to taste 

Brooklyn Delhi Sweet or Spicy Mango Chutney, to taste


In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt and pepper, and a splash of milk/cream. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter. Once the butter is melted, add the whisked eggs. Scramble gently, allowing a loose omelette to form. While the eggs are cooking, toast your roll to desired level of crispiness. 

Once the eggs are almost cooked, place the cheese slice on top for it to melt.  Spread one side of the roll with Tomato Achaar and the other with Mango Chutney. Then place the egg on top of one side of the roll and top with the other half.

Serve immediately!
