Whipped Ricotta and Spicy Mango Chutney Toast

The creaminess of a whipped ricotta is the perfect foil to our new Spicy Mango Chutney. Slathering it all on a thick piece of toast topped with nuts and herbs really brings it all together into a satisfying lunch or the perfect snack to treat yourself.

Also, free to make variations of this recipe with different cheeses - mascarpone and just plain old cream cheese are delish with this chutney! Or use our Sweet Mango Chutney for a variation.

Serves 2


1 1/2 cups whole milk ricotta cheese

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil

2 slices thick-cut toast

Brooklyn Delhi Spicy Mango Chutney or Sweet Mango Chutney

chopped nuts or seeds

mint leaves


In a food processor, combine ricotta and salt. Blend to combine, then, with the motor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil and continue processing on high speed until the ricotta is smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.

Spread or pipe whipped ricotta onto toasts.

Spoon Spicy Mango Chutney (or Sweet Mango Chutney) on top and finish with chopped nuts or seeds and mint leaves.
