Chickpea Tikka Masala Tostadas

Tacos get all the love but I'm partial to tostadas, taco's crunchy, flat cousin. As a consummate taco overstuffer, I love tostadas so much because I can pile on my fillings and not worry about a taco collapse! The combination of Chickpea Tikka Masala with labneh, a thick Middle Eastern yogurt is not to be missed but you can also sub in Greek yogurt if that is what you have access to.

Serves 6

Ingredients

1 15.5 oz-can chickpeas, rinsed and drained

1 jar Brooklyn Delhi Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce

1 package of tostadas

Labneh or Greek yogurt, to taste

Cilantro, to taste

Tomato Achaar or Roasted Garlic Achaar, to taste 

Method

In a saucepan over medium heat add chickpeas and Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce. Stir and cook down until sauce has thickened and beans are warmed through. You can also use our Heat & Eat Chickpea Tikka Masala pouch for an even quicker cooking time (available at Whole Foods). 

To assemble, layer tostadas with labneh, chickpeas, cilantro and Tomato Achaar or Roasted Garlic Achaar. Serve immediately.
